Tierra Madre Landscape Services merged with AZ Landscape Solutions (AZLS) to form one of the largest woman-owned landscaping companies in the Southwest, according to the firms.

The new entity will move forward under the Tierra Madre brand, comprising more than 80 employees, and will be headquartered in Avondale, Ariz.

“This exciting merger brings almost 600 years of landscape industry experience together under one roof,” said Linda Shaughnessy, VP of development at Tierra Madre. “As an expanded organization, we plan to elevate the perception of our industry as a whole. We bring attention to detail, responsiveness and innovation to our combined clientele and are looking forward to a bright future.”

Tierra Madre President and CEO Donna Wood added: “We discovered our companies had the same goals, values and respect for our staff.
