Mariani Landscape, based in Lake Bluff, Ill., promoted Frank Mariani Jr. to West Branch manager. Previously, Mariani served as manager of transitioning landscape clients for Mariani Landscape. In his new role, he will be responsible for the overall performance of the maintenance business for the West Branch.
Lake Forest Open Lands Association paid tribute at its annual meeting, May 13, to Mariani Landscape Quality Control Operations Manager Chris Paisley. Paisley conducted prescribed burns, used to rejuvenate a prairie, at the Lake Forest Open Lands Mellody Farm Nature Preserve and other preservation sites.
Toro promoted Dan Winterton to director of marketing. Winterton, who has been with the company for 18 years, served most recently as senior marketing manager, where he oversaw the Irritrol and Rain Master businesses. In his new role, Winterton will oversee the residential/commercial irrigation, golf irrigation and lighting businesses for the Toro, Irritrol and Unique Lighting Systems brands.
Comet USA/efco appointed Robert Parsons as its regional sales manager for the U.S. and Canada. Parsons has more than 20 years of experience in the outdoor power equipment industry and previously worked for Tanaka and Pace.
