JCB North America appointed Tim Witter as its vice president of manufacturing. In his new position, Witter is responsible for JCB’s North American Manufacturing Center, which builds the company’s skid-steer and compact track loaders, the 3CX backhoe loader and the High Mobility Engineer Excavator (HMEE). His experience in manufacturing includes more than 18 years at Gorbel, a global overhead handling solutions manufacturer. There, he served as vice president of operations. He replaces Stuart Hughes. Bill Wright, CEO of Wright Manufacturing, was selected for a 2016 Maryland International Business Leadership Award. The World Trade Center Institute, a regional business network, sponsors the award. Wright will receive his award March 9 at a ceremony in Baltimore. Wright’s Frederick, Md., company manufactures stand-on, zero-turn and walk-behind mowers and accessories.

Control Solutions (CSI) hired Paul Fox as its Gulf Coast area manager. He will represent the Quali-Pro line in Florida, Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi. At Winfield, he worked in the Florida and Southeastern U.S. specialty markets in sales, purchasing, operations and business management.

The Harvest Group added Fred Haskett as a consultant. He is a 30-year industry veteran who has worked with Valley Crest, U.S. Lawns, Landscape Development and the Brickman Group and has experience in operations, finance, sales, marketing and franchising. Haskett entered the industry in 1980 when he founded Greenworld Lawn Care in Ohio. Most recently, he was vice president of Landscape Development. He is a certified landscape manager, certified arborist, certified turfgrass professional and a NALP Trailblazer.
