ND Landscape, located in Georgetown, Mass., appointed Billy Butts to business development manager for commercial maintenance and snow.

“Billy has a great sense of best practices and brings with him years of networking experience with clients and vendors alike,” ND Landscape President, Nick DiBenedetto said. “We look forward to having him on board. He will help us build on the strong relationships we already have with current clients and work to foster new ones.”

Butts brings 27 years of experience to ND Landscape. Since graduating in 1987 with a business degree from University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, he has run his own company, worked as the grounds manager for Simmons College and spent more than 15 years developing business for two large landscape management firms.

In his new role, Butts will be responsible for developing new business on the North Shore and surrounding areas.

“A few years ago, we noticed our older customers were moving into HOAs and condos”, said Manny DeSouza, co-partner and director of maintenance. “At this time, we started to develop a plan to grow that side of our maintenance business, along with the institutional and corporate campus work we were already doing. We look forward to the expertise Billy brings to the table to continue to move our company forward.”

DiBenedetto added: “As our commercial business continued to grow organically we felt there was an opportunity to add a dedicated person to handle the commercial business development role. Manny and I both feel that Billy is perfect for the job. More importantly, we are confident that our clients will feel the same way.”
