NALP to hold Legislative Day on the Hill in July

|

logo-NALP-Primary-COLORThe National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP) will hold its Legislative Day on the Hill July 10-12 in Washington, D.C. The event is held in conjunction with the annual Renewal & Remembrance service event.

Attendees of the event will receive updates on industry issues, visit with members of Congress and learn how to become a more active voice in the legislative process.

“This is a must-attend event for every landscape or lawn care company in the U.S. that cares about how the government impacts their business,” said Paul Mendelsohn, NALP vice president of government relations. “We need everyone to learn about the issues so they can talk effectively with their local, state, and federal representatives to help them understand the business pressures that they are under.”

Alex Castellanos, CNN commentator and Republican strategist, will keynote the event. There also will be networking opportunities, entertainment by the political satire group the Capitol Steps and a crash course in effective lobbying from the Washington D.C. firm Advocacy Associates.

The event is free and open to all industry professionals.
