LandOpt awarded the top performers in its network at its annual Principals Meeting and Success Celebration in Savannah, Ga., Feb 9-11.
“Certainly each contractor in our network is successful in his or her own right,” said David Gallagher, director of success for LandOpt. “But to be declared ‘the best of the best’ within this realm is really something special.”
Each year, the LandOpt Network awards more than 30 landscape contractors from across the U.S. in multiple categories. The following contractors are considered the “top performers” within the LandOpt Network:
- Contractor of the Year—Eichenlaub, Pittsburgh, Pa.;
- Rookie Contractor of the Year—Esterline Landscape, Tampa, Fla.;
- Sales Professional of the Year—Charley Criswell from Green Earth Santa Rosa, Fla.;
- Rookie Sales Professional of the Year—Greg Miller of SGK Landscapes, Starkville, Miss.; and
- President’s Award—Tony Szczechowski from Pro Edge Lawn Care, Holland, Ohio.
The President’s Award is a new distinction. It’s based on qualitative scores versus quantifiable scores, and it recognizes leadership, consistency, initiative, commitments upheld and impact on the team, rather than individuals, LandOpt said.
Contractor and Rookie Contractor of the Year criteria include performance against plan, transformation, maintenance base growth and training attendance. Sales Professional and Rookie Sales Professional of the Year are based on similar criteria. Both are graded on performance against plan—long-term, short-term and project sales—and meetings and proposals booked in the customer relationship management system.
