Kohler’s air-cooled, V-twin 7000 series engines will soon power Hustler Turf Equipment’s 42- and 54-in. Raptor models.

The 7000 series engines feature Kohler’s Smart-Choke technology and include cast iron cylinder bores and dual-seal air filters. According to the company, the engines also have high-torque inertia drive starters, which allow for easy start-up of the mowers.

“We are very excited to add the new premium Kohler 7000 series engine to power our Raptor family,” said Brad Unruh, director of product strategy at Hustler. “The professional features of this engine will be a great match to the Raptor platform.”
