WAC Lighting Landscape Summit
WAC Lighting hosted its first Landscape Lighting Summit in Port Washington, N.Y.

WAC Lighting held the first Landscape Lighting Summit Nov. 4-5 at its headquarters in Port Washington, N.Y. Industry professionals, such as electrical engineers, irrigation professionals and landscape contractors, gained knowledge on WAC’s current products, new LED technologies and concepts for lighting fixtures that are not currently in the marketplace. The event was hosted by Shelly and Dirk Wald, the owners of WAC Lighting.

Heaviland Landscape Managementa commercial landscape installation and maintenance company in Southern California, helped create a new look for the Ocean Point Tech Center in Carlsbad, Calif. The exterior renovation at the 82,991 square-foot office space created improved walking paths, multiple outdoor seating areas, a drip irrigation system that uses recycled water and green areas with new turf and hedges. The company said Heaviland’s work will lead to increased property  value and greater tenant satisfaction.

Milorganitea manufacturer of a low-nitrogen fertilizer for professional and residential use, is celebrating its 90-year anniversary. The company’s products are manufactured and marketed by The Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District, a regional government agency that provides water reclamation and flood management services for about 1.1 million in the Greater Milwaukee area. Since 1926, the company has produced organic-nitrogen fertilizer as a push for a cleaner environment for Milwaukee residents.
