Intelligro, the lawn care and agriculture operating brand of Suncor, launched Civitas Weedfree Brand Concentrate at GIE+EXPO earlier this month. The product is shipping within the continental U.S., except California.

It’s a hybrid selective herbicide, which the manufacturer said controls weeds with less active ingredients compared to traditional three-way herbicides, no offensive odor and a fast response rate.

Additionally, the company will host a webinar about improving IPM programs with a low-active-ingredient herbicide. It also will share independent test results of Civitas Weedfree Brand Concentrate. The free webinar takes place on Nov. 3 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Eastern.

Civitas Weedfree Brand Concentrate’s technology maximizes the efficacy of the three-way mix of active ingredients by improving penetration of the product into the plant, the company said. Weeds experience visible injury within 12 hours. The product produces a white emulsion when sprayed, which the manufacturer said identifies areas that have been treated.
