Caterpillar released its new M Series compact wheel loaders, which include the 906M, 907M and 908M.

The models feature the company’s Optimized Z-bar loader linkage and 75-gross hp Cat C3.3B engines. The loaders also include electronically controlled hydrostatic drive systems that meet Tier 4 Final standards and come equipped with Electro-Hydraulic controls.

The loaders’ Cat Hystat systems run up to 22mph with optional stop-to-shift transmissions. In addition, they feature the company’s new Road Feature and Load Feature packages, which include electronic, soft-touch keypads, says Cat. The Road Feature Package includes a ride-control system that cushions boom cylinders when the loaders are traveling, and the Load Feature Package includes the electronic throttle lock, implement-modulation system and hystat aggressiveness control.

According to Cat, the machines’ security systems now offer added protection by integrating keypad access for engine starting. The system also has the ability to lock out the hystat and implement controls.

The M Series loaders are available with two coupler options: a skid-steer loader style coupler and a Cat coupler.
