Case debuts sectional snow pushers

|

Case Construction Equipment debuted a new line of sectional snow pushers at the Snow & Ice Management Association’s 19th annual Snow & Ice Symposium in Providence, R.I.

The new line features six heavy- and light-duty sectional snow pushers compatible with current and older model wheel loaders, skid-steers, compact track loaders and backhoes.

Each pusher features a Hardox 405 steel cutting edge. The independently moving moldboard sections shift up and down in response to uneven pavement or obstacles.

When the blade makes contact with an obstacle, only the section hitting the uneven pavement or obstacle is lifted off the ground. This motion ensures the other sections remain on the ground and more snow is removed on the first pass.

The light-duty models, designed for compact equipment and backhoes, feature pushers up to 13-feet wide. The heavy-duty line offers pushers up to 17-feet wide for full-sized wheel loaders.

The pushers are also compatible with competitive equipment. The company says it allows a snow removal contractor to standardize on a single style of pusher across its fleet.
