Canopy Lawn Care, a tech-based landscape maintenance company in Raleigh, N.C., acquired the residential maintenance accounts of Greenview Partners, a commercial and residential landscape service in Raleigh. Terms were not disclosed.

“Greenview’s goal is to provide unparalleled customer service,” said Darrin Hockstra of Greenview Partners. “As we continue to grow our commercial landscape services, we wanted to find a partner in residential maintenance that had a reputation of being proactive, reliable and supportive to their customers, which aligns with our mission. We know that our residential customers will be pleased with this transition and benefit from Canopy’s enhanced service offerings.”

The partnership, as Canopy calls it, adds 500 residential customers to Canopy’s portfolio.

Canopy raised $2 million in a fundraising round in late 2016. It has announced numerous partnerships in 2016, including partnered with Greenscape in Holly Springs, N.C., which ranked No. 115 on the 2016 LM150 list. The company also recently moved into the Charlotte, N.C., market.
