“Any time you get involved with an industry and collaborate with like-minded people, you’re going to come away learning great things.”

Did you know?

Outside the office, Bonick spends time snow skiing with his wife, Mimi, and his sons Travis, 27, and Ian, 21. He and Ian are also trekking the Appalachian Trail. The pair hiked 50 miles through Georgia last year, and this year, they’ll pick up where they left off and cross into Tennessee. “We’ll do another 50-75 miles this fall,” he says. “Only 2,090 miles to go.”

“My favorite part of my job is collaborating. You have to be vulnerable and encourage everybody else to be open and vulnerable.” Here, the company is celebrating its hard work at an annual tour of local microbreweries.

Words of wisdom

“I’m a big believer in being passionate about what you do. Your passion will show through. If you love the people you work with and you love what you do, people will see your passion and your passion will make you great.”

“Finding good people is the biggest challenge we face, but when you do find good people who are passionate about service and doing a quality job, it can be the greatest joy about what we do.”
