ASIC names 2017 Irrigation Award winners

|

The American Society of Irrigation Consultants (ASIC) presented the  2017 Excellence in Irrigation awards to honorees at the ASIC National Conference in Seattle in April.

The Excellence in Irrigation program celebrates the innovative solutions and technical skills required of irrigation design professionals to meet the challenges of designing efficient and effective irrigation in a wide variety of circumstances. Challenges must be unique and the solutions must successfully address the distinctive climatic, structural, agronomic and system operational needs of each project.

Eleven projects were recieved special acknowledgement from the association as examples of unique or outstanding irrigation design challenges and solutions. The submittals were independently judged by a panel comprised of an academic team from Cal Poly Pomona and Kansas State University and peer review. For more details on each of the projects, check out the Excellence in Irrigation website.
