AmericanHort elected new officers and members to its board of directors.

Dale Deppe of Spring Meadow Nursery in Grand Haven, Mich., was elected chairman of the board of directors, and Terri Cantwell of Bates Sons & Daughters in Lake Placid, Fla., was elected the vice chairman.

Mark Foertmeyer of Foertmeyer & Sons Greenhouse Co. in Delaware, Ohio, becomes the immediate past chairman.

Joining nine other volunteers and the CEO of the board of the directors are:

• Dan Batson of GreenForest Nursery in Perkinston, Miss.;
• Mike Klopmeyer of Darwin Perennials in West Chicago, Ill.;
• Susie Raker of C Raker & Sons in Litchfield, Mich.; and
• Mark Sellew of Prides Corner Farms in Lebanon, Conn.

Each will assume their positions during Cultivate’15, held July 11-14 in Columbus, Ohio.
