Web Extra: Fit Turf’s production and sales comp plans

|

With a goal of being a people-centric business, the leadership team at Fit Turf believes in a robust compensation and bonus structure for sales and production personnel. The company is based in Centennial, Colo.

Here’s how it works.

Production compensation

  • Base weekly salary.
  • Overbill bonus, which adds 7 percent of all produced production to weekly income (after technicians meet their weekly production goals). “We have some technicians receiving $800-plus in addition to their biweekly paychecks,” says Operations Manager Dayna Macbeth. “This is a great incentive for those striving to exceed production goals, which is a win for both the company and technician.”
  • 10 percent commission on all field sales. “Mobile Live tablet software makes it extremely easy for the technicians to send emails with estimates for service recommendations,” she says. “Customers can simply activate the service online, using that email, without even contacting the office.”
  • Daily bonus, which is a flat dollar amount technicians earn daily for meeting their production goal.
  • $150/month perfect attendance bonus.
  • $1,000 welcome back bonus for returning technicians (new for 2018).

Sales compensation

“The structure of this is a lot more complex, but it provides options for sales reps to increase their income based on consistence performance, outside of their sales commission of 5 percent,” says Macbeth. “Sales commission is paid once the service is completed and paid for.”
