The Commercial Appeal, a newspaper in Memphis, Tenn., named TruGreen one of Memphis’ Top Workplaces.
“We are honored to receive the Top Workplaces award for a third year in a row,” said David Alexander, TruGreen president and CEO. “It means that our associates are proud of the work atmosphere and culture we have worked hard to create. We’ve continued to experience growth as a standalone company and our people are the key to our success.”
To decide the top workplaces, Workplace Dynamics surveyed companies’ associates. Employees said they felt “appreciated at work” and called the company “a positive work environment and culture,” TruGreen said.
Additionally, Alexander, who was called “selfless” and “humble” by employees, was given the Top Leadership Award for the 100-349 associate respondent category.
TruGreen, a national lawn care company, has 348 associates in the Memphis area, where it’s headquartered, and approximately 13,000 associates across the U.S.
