Christina Bellantoni, editor-in-chief of Roll Call and former political editor for the PBS NewsHouse, will deliver the keynote speech at the National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP) Legislative Day on the Hill July 20 at the Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel in Arlington, Va.

Bellantoni also served as association politics editor at Roll Call, where she wrote about national politics and Congress, worked with reporters to craft enterprise projects, led the creation of a new series of freshman profiles and helped enhance Roll Call’s social media presence.

All industry professionals are welcome to participate in the Legislative Day on the Hill, where they will have the opportunity to meet with legislators and their staffs to discuss industry issues, including H-2B, business or pesticide issues, and Lyme disease.

“We encourage participants to pick issues that are most important to them and to their business to discuss with legislators,” said Tom Delaney, NALP director of government affairs. “Those attending Legislative Day on the Hill get training about how to speak with legislators and congressional staff and get the satisfaction of knowing that they helped the industry by adding their voice to the legislative process.”
