RedMax, an outdoor power equipment brand from Husqvarna, is presenting its 2018 portfolio of professional products at GIE+EXPO Oct. 18-20 in Louisville, Ky.

RedMax has expanded its lineup to include a new line of commercial zero-turn mowers, chainsaws and battery-powered handhelds and accessories.

“Developing innovative and reliable products for commercial use is paramount for us,” said Jeff Dewosky, vice president and general manager of Husqvarna North America. “We are excited to share our latest innovations for RedMax that show how our products can help professionals be more productive and efficient with intelligently designed products that focus on what matters.”

RedMax will display its products at GIE+EXPO (11100, inside; 7800D, outside) at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville.

Commercial Mowers

RedMax is offering three new commercial mowers.

• CZT: These 52- and 61-inch zero-turn mowers offer fabricated steel decks, flat-free tires and convenient access to service parts and major components.
• CZTx: Designed for larger jobs, the CZTx has a 16-cc pump and motor and is available in cutting deck widths of 48, 54 and 60 inches.
• CWP21: This 2018 commercial walk-behind mower has a 21-inch reinforced steel deck.

Chainsaws

RedMax will also present five new chainsaws at this year’s show. The chainsaws feature the company’s Carb Control technology provides continuous automatic tuning of the air and fuel mix to ensure optimal performance, eliminating the need for manual carburetor adjustments.

• Lightweight:
  • GZ3500T: This lightweight top handle chainsaw is equipped with a 35-cc engine and a 14-inch bar.
  • GZ360: A lightweight 35-cc chainsaw, this machine is designed for medium duty use with 14-16-inch bars.
  • GZ4350: The lightweight 43-cc chainsaw has a 0.325-inch pitch and is designed for a 16-inch bar.

• Heavy-duty:
  • GZ7100: This is a 70-cc chainsaw designed for 20- to 24-inch bars.
  • G9000: This machine features 88 cc of displacement and is designed for jobs requiring 18- to 28-inch bars.

Battery Products for Commercial Use

RedMax is also presenting several new battery-powered products, such as the 250-series of commercial-grade handheld equipment offers ergonomic design and reduced vibrations, allowing operators to run longer, while the brushless motor delivers a high and consistent torque throughout.

The line includes the following models:

• BTR250PL string trimmer: This string trimmer is a straight-shaft trimmer with 40-80 minutes of optimized run time on a single battery charge.
• BHB250P leaf blower: This blower provides 388 cfm air flow volume with a maximum speed up to 105 mph.
• BHT250PD60 hedge trimmer: This hedge trimmer comes with a 24-inch double sided knife and an extended run time of up to two hours.
• QC330ZR charger: This quick-charger charging station powers batteries with a 330W quick charge.
• BLi200ZR battery: The 40-V, 5-Ah battery is designed to maximize charging time.

Additionally, the RedMax line includes several new handhelds, including string trimmers, hedge trimmers and a leaf blower.

Three new hedge trimmers will also be added to RedMax’s commercial portfolio next year, boasting plenty of power for all types of foliage maintenance work.

• SRTZ260F: This 1.3-hp hedge trimmer has a 25.4-cc engine and a 26-inch double-sided knife, allowing for a reach of up to 10 feet.
• SRTZ230: Featuring a 20-inch double-sided knife, the 1-hp trimmer has a displacement of 22.5 cc and a reach of 10 feet.
• LRTZ230: The 1-hp trimmer has a reach up to 12 feet with a double-sided knife 20-inch double-sided knife and a 22.5-cc engine.
