People on the Move: Toro names vp of Sitework Systems; Buyers adds national accounts manager; BASF promotes two

Rick Rodier, previously general manager, was named vice president of Sitework Systems business.

The Toro Co. named Rick Rodier vice president of its Sitework Systems business. Rodier, who previously served as general manager for Sitework, has been with Toro since 1987 and has held a variety of operational, marketing and business management roles. He was named general manager of Toro’s landscape contractor business in 2004 and then appointed to general manager of Sitework in 2009. He is the 2017 chairperson for the International Construction and Utility Equipment Exposition and is a director on the Construction Equipment Sector Board of AEM. He holds a bachelor’s in business and economics from Hamline University and an MBA from The University of St. Thomas.

Buyers Products added Shawn Kennedy as its national accounts manager. He previously spent seven years as regional manager at Fox Racing and two years as national sales manager at Seattle Sports. He holds a bachelor’s in business administration from West Virginia University.

BASF promoted two employees in its turf and ornamental department. Cozette Hadley Rosburg was promoted to to strategic account manager. Rosburg previously served as sales representative for turf and ornamentals in the Northern Midwest. She joined BASF through the acquisition of Becker Underwood in 2012 and has 29 years of experience in the turf and ornamental industry. Nate Mezera was promoted to sales representative for the turf and ornamental division. He previously held a similar role for the company’s Urban, Rural and Termite control segment in Louisiana and southeastern Texas. He’s been with the company since 2014 and in the industry for seven years.
