Bruce Wilson & Co., a national green industry advisory firm providing CEO peer group facilitation, strategic planning and business leadership to landscape business owners, added Robert Clinkenbeard as business coach and senior strategic advisor.

In his new role, Clinkenbeard will join Wilson as a member of the facilitating team for the National Association of Landscape Professionals’ (NALP) CEO peer group program, which Wilson co-founded with NALP in 2012.

Clinkenbeard brings more than 20 years of executive leadership and management experience as former CEO and co-founder of ILM, one of the largest landscape companies in the Southwest.

He is the past president of the Arizona Contractors Association and past president of the Arizona Chapter of the Entrepreneur’s Organization (EO). He currently serves on the EO Western Regional Council’s board as an area director. He’s a global business coach with The Radix Group and a Gazelles international coach.

“We are excited to welcome Robert to our team,” said Bruce Wilson, principal of Bruce Wilson & Co. “Robert and I have worked together on a number of initiatives over the years to help landscape companies become more profitable. As a Gazelles coach, Robert offers our clients an unparalleled opportunity to give them the momentum and tools they need to do their business better.”

“As a business owner and entrepreneur, I know how valuable it is to find the right coach and mentor, the kind that can help with solutions and accountability, or simply accelerate progress on goals in a healthy and strategic way,” said Clinkenbeard. “I’m looking forward to working with Bruce and his team and helping CEOs across various industries scale up successfully.”

Eisaku Mori, a nearly 30-year veteran executive affiliated with various branches of Kawasaki Heavy Industries (KHI), has been appointed executive vice president of Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. (KMC) and has also become general manager of KHI’s general purpose engines division with international responsibilities.

Mori will retain his title as general manager of KMC research and development at the company’s R&D center attached to its engines division in Grand Rapids, Mich.

Many of the leadership and operational functions Mori performs while managing the R&D center will be assumed by Dave Sugden, newly promoted to executive director of research and development at KMC’s engines division. He came to Kawasaki last year and oversees a completely renovated R&D facility that has been increasing its staffing since relocating from former facilities at the Maryville, Mo., manufacturing plant of Kawasaki Motors Manufacturing Corp., U.S.A.

First joining KHI in 1989, Mori has held numerous posts related to both general purpose engines and consumer products. His various assignments brought him to the KMC engines division R&D post in 2015.

Jeffrey Lanahan has resigned from his position as executive vice president of business development at Ewing Irrigation Products.
