NALP Foundation names board of directors

logo-NALP-Primary-COLORThe National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP) named its 2016-2017 Foundation Board of Directors.

The NALP Foundation works to advance professional careers in the landscape industry through public education and other efforts, such as scholarship programs.

The NALP Board of Directors also took office last week.

The following members were chosen:

Officers

  • President—Mark Meister of John Deere in Cary, N.C.;
  • President-Elect—Jerry Grossi of ArborLawn in Lansing, Mich.;
  • Treasurer—Frank Mariani of Mariani Landscape in Lake Bluff, Ill.; and
  • Immediate Past President—Miles Kuperus of Farmside Landscape & Design in Sussex, N.J.

Directors-At-Large

  • Phil Allen, Ph.D., of Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah;
  • Bruce Birdsong of Precision Landscape Management in Dallas, Texas;
  • Ed Castro of Ed Castro Landscape in Roswell, Ga.;
  • Jon Cundiff of Weed Man-Kansas City in Lees Summit, Mo.;
  • Tom Fochtman of Ceibass Venture Partners in Arvada, Colo.;
  • Martha Hill of Hinds Community College in Raymond, Miss.;
  • Michael Hommel of Designs By Sundown in Englewood, Colo.;
