McCrometer launched its CONNECT TrendView app, which allows users to view crop and irrigation data via their smart phones or tablets.

Compatible with both iPhone and Apple products, TrendView can also be used with the suite of McCrometer CONNECT wireless UHF radio and cellular field stations and sensors.

With the app, users are able to view soil moisture, depth of irrigation, water use, flow rates, degree days, ET, disease risk and well depth, says the company. The data can be viewed via two options: “Instruments” and “Trends.” The “Instruments” option displays data in panels resembling real sensors while the “Trends” option shows data in graphs.

In addition, the app also has a full addVANTAGE Pro software interface for other data management features.
