Landscapes 2018 debuts new technical track and specialty education

|

NALP logoThe National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP) unveiled the schedule for Landscapes 2018, which will include a new technical track and education opportunities for every team member.

“We are truly excited to debut a reimagined conference in our brand-new headquarters hotel—the spectacular Omni Louisville Hotel,” said NALP CEO Sabeena Hickman. “We encourage people to bring more of their team members and let everyone share in the professional development opportunities.”

For crew members, there is a new technical education track that includes classroom and outdoor training as well as a separate intensive crew leader workshop.

For sales and marketing staff, the day-long account manager workshop complements the courses in the conference that focus on preparing attendees to improve their customer relations, target their marketing and hone their account management skills.

CEOs, owners and managers also have targeted education including specialty summits in landscape management, lawn care, design/build, irrigation and snow and ice management, in addition to more than 20 regular sessions on finance, operations and HR. The CEO Forum and networking opportunities round out the offerings.

The conference starts a day earlier this year and GIE+EXPO also opens a day earlier, following the joint keynote featuring Dr. Robert Ballard, the explorer who discovered the Titanic.

Conference registration is now open here.

Landscapes 2018 is approved for Landscape Industry Certified CEUs at one per hour of instruction attended.
