The 310L, 310SL, 310 SL HL, 315SL and 410L come equipped with Tier 4 PowerTech Plus diesel engines, while the 310L EP comes equipped with a Tier 4 John Deere PowerTech engine. In addition, the 310SL, 310SL HL, 315SL and 410L include five-speed PowerShift transmissions.

The machines also feature HVAC systems, adjustable mechanical or air-suspension seats, lower and larger steps, a new lighting scheme and an elevated canopy. They come standard with Economy mode and have variable-speed electronically-controlled fans that automatically speed up or slow down depending on the machine’s temperature.

The backhoes include same-side ground-level service points, quick-change filters, extended service intervals and easy-access grease points.
