Dixie Chopper launched the Eagle Series.

“We can’t wait to launch the Eagle series to the industry,” said Matt Jackson, product manager of Dixie Chopper. “The series is faster, more powerful and more productive than anything we have created before. With features like OCDC and the InCommand Console offering keyless ignition and SoftStart clutch engagement, we’re confident that the Eagle series will take the commercial mower market by storm.”

Available in 10 models, the Eagle is available with either a 27-hp Kawasaki FX or a 27-hp Kohler Command EFI engine. It’s also offered with either a 54- or 60-inch cutting deck.

With 60-, 66-, or 72-inch cutting decks, the HP model offers more power with a range of engine options of up to 35 hp. The Eagle HP also comes with an ISO mounted platform featuring a full-suspension seat with padded armrests, recline and lumbar support for ultimate comfort. Springer forks on the Eagle HP models also help to absorb bumps and imperfections in the turf, the company said.

Both the Eagle and Eagle HP models feature a deep 7-gauge shell to handle more volume when tackling through tough grass. The Eagle series is also equipped with a foot-operated operator controlled discharge (OCDC) chute as standard, which allows the operator to keep both hands on the steering levers while blocking the chute on the fly. the InCommand console also features a blade timer, tachometer, job timer, voltage and fuel gauge.

The mowers also feature a SoftStart keyless ignition for easier clutch engagement; the InCommand console with a blade timer, tachometer, job timer, voltage and fuel gauge; and a Parker HTG series transmission that was designed to deliver smooth steering up to 14 miles per hour.
