Aspen Grove debuts as a national alliance of 10 landscape firms

|

Aspen Grove Landscape GroupA holding company for 10 commercial landscaping firms with a combined $180 million in annual revenue has rebranded as Aspen Grove Landscape Group.

The holding company, based in Willow Grove, Pa., was previously known as Five Seasons Property Management.

President David Fleischner says the alliance “brings together the best landscape professionals from across the country.”

The Aspen Grove companies include:

These firms employ approximately 2,000 professionals in 20 states, providing maintenance, design, installation, irrigation and snow removal for a wide range of clients.

Aspen Grove’s partner companies will retain their individual regional brands and reputation rather than rebranding as Aspen Grove.

“The professionals within each Aspen Grove company are encouraged to maintain a local focus and continue to provide outstanding responsiveness for their clients, old and new,” Fleischner says. “But we also want everyone to feel that they are part of something bigger—a company that is growing and that by working together, we will all be stronger.”

The company’s strength comes from its infrastructure, which encourages growth, communication and partnerships, Fleischner says. “As our ‘grove’ grows stronger, it will support our employees, partners, and clients,” he says. “Our motto is ‘Together. Stronger.’”

Added benefits of a national organization include safety, administrative, accounting, fleet and supply chain support for the partner companies and their clients, according to Aspen Grove.

Industry observers have speculated that Five Seasons was connected to Asplundh, the large, privately held tree services firm also based in Willow Grove, Pa.

Asplundh is a Swedish family name meaning “grove of aspen trees,” according to an FAQ on the company’s website, under “How do you pronounce that name?”

A spokesman for Aspen Grove did not confirm a connection between Aspen Grove and Asplundh, saying only that Aspen Grove is a privately held holding company.
